The building is situated in a close vicinity of the sea and overgrown with trees cliff of Kamienna Góra. Such a great location allows for creating a unique palace.
The concept of the building corresponds with modernism – the style of a great impact on the architecture of Gdynia. The inspirations with Le Corbusier’s “Five Points of Architecture” manifesto are clearly visible. On the other hand, the project does not banally repeat the clichés of Gdynia modernism (as e.g. rounded forms). The idea of the project was to create a simple form, which assimilates to the character of the environment and does not dominate future investments along the Sea Boulevard.
Apart from catering functions, the building is to be a place for education, culture and entertainment activities.
