RESTUDIO is a family-owned architectural firm with over a 40-year tradition. Our focus is individual and challenging architecture in a large and small scale. This includes both public buildings and spaces as well as private houses and interiors. The foundation of our work is the responsibility for people, environment and aesthetics. We believe that good projects can only be created on the basis of dialogue, because architecture must be integrated with its users and surroundings.
Each project is individual as well the needs and vision of the investor and the context in which it is to be created. The design process is preceded by a thorough analysis of the following aspects.
We believe in moderation and avoid the projects where the form is dominant. This way we distance ourselves from narcissistic temptations which characterize many of the contemporary designs. A key determinant which defines our idea of the good architecture is Nature – its harmony and universal balance. Each project is a change of a part of the the world, its landscape and someone’s very personal life. Therefore, aware of our influence on the reality, we aim at leaving a trace which will be a living and integral part of the changing environment for many years to come.
We are personally and fully committed to every project. The basis of the cooperation is the personal contact with the investor. A new project is a always a change and creation of the future, so it is also about emotions. Therefore we start from building a good relation based on the awareness of the needs and possibilities. We listen, talk and search for the common vision which integrates all elements and each of them, even the limitations may be an inspiration. We are on the investor’s side and equally involved at every stage of a project delivery. Our work is our passion and we truly enjoy taking up challenging and ambitious projects which offer an opportunity to create an interesting and individually designed space.
A project details are always processed by a team of experienced architects. The family relations, which are the foundation of the firm, are also transferred on the whole group of people we work with. We have been cooperating for many years in a number of projects where each of us can use their personal specialization. This is why we are able to take a broad range of tasks.
